I would recommend the island of Kos in Greece because I can get around very cheaply, the average price of a hotel is around $40 Greece is one of the most historically significant places in the world.

The former capital of the Inca Empire has amazing ancient ruins, the likes of which you won't see anywhere else on the planet.  Peru this city has ancient ruins that attract tourists. This location is reasonably priced to visit.

12. Bucharest, Romania 

Although some people think Transylvania is a hoax, it is indeed a sizable portion of Romania, an eastern European nation. Romania is really affordable to visit, it's simple to get about, and you can see some charming tiny villages and magnificent castles on the route.
